Mr. WEST RUSSELLasked the Minister of Health whether any representations have been made to him by any local authorities concerned as to the action of the Tynemouth Union Board of Guardians in excusing and cancelling loans amounting to £146,000 made by that body during the 1926 coal trade dispute; whether he is aware that the district auditor has informed the union that their action is illegal; and whether it is his intention to take any action in the matter?
