When I entered office I found a programme of improvement in existence and in process of being carried out, but not with a rapidity with which I could be satisfied. The House will appreciate that the remodelling 673W of the Employment Exchange premises must necessarily take time. But I am determined to press on with it with the utmost speed, and the First Commissioner of Works has assured me of his cordial co-operation.
