§ Mr. LEES-SMITHI would refer to the answer given to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Louth (Lieut.-Colonel Heneage) on 9th July. A readjustment of various items in the remuneration of sub-postmasters, including the telephone allowances, was recommended by the Industrial Court and has been discussed with the Federation of Sub-Postmasters, but it has not been possible to secure agreement.
