WILSONasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether, seeing that the estate halls at Peter Street, Tyler Street, and Tinsley, Sheffield, which were presented by an Indian prince, were intended by the donor to be for the use of the estate tenants, he will say what consideration has been given to this desire now that some of the balls have been disposed of?

HENDERSONThe estate halls at Peter Street, Tyler Street and Tinsley, Sheffield, were not, in fact, presented by an Indian Prince, but were built by the Ministry of Munitions and paid for entirely out of public funds. The halls wore sold with the estates, but particulars of the sale could not be disclosed without the consent of the purchasers.
