§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe rates of marriage allowance for the financial year depend upon the cost of living figure published by the Ministry of Labour for the previous 1st January. The figure for 1st January last was published in the middle of January. The rates of marriage allowance for the ensuing year will be the same as in the current year.
