WILLIAMSThe following table shows the balances outward of passengers of British nationality from the United Kingdom to ports in the British Empire and in foreign countries, respectively, in each of the years 1904 to 1913, and 1919 to 1928. The balance of the passenger movement is the only measure of the net emigration available for both series of years.
