asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, in respect of each ship ordered or built in His Majesty's dockyards during the years 1927 and 1928, where the main and auxiliary machinery were ordered or made, and the cost?

The following are the particulars of the ships ordered, to be ordered, under construction or completed in H.M. dockyards during the years 1927 and 1928:—

the years 1927 and 1928, how much money went to Devonport in each case and how much to private firms?

The ships laid down completed, or in course of construction at H.M. dockyard, Devon-port, during the financial years 1927 and 1928, and the estimated expenditure upon them under the heads, dockyard labour, materials, and contract work, are shown in the Programme of Shipbuilding appended to the Navy Estimates, 1927 and 1928.

The names of the ships laid down, building or completed for the Admiralty at His Majesty's Dockyards and private yards during the financial years 1927 and 1928, the names of the building yards, and the estimated expenditure on the ships in those two years are given in the Programme of Shipbuilding appended to the Navy Estimates, 1927 and 1928.
