§ Sir R. THOMASasked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to protests from the boards of guardians of Conway, Corwen, and other places in North Wales against the closing of the casual ward of the Bangor and Beaumaris Union; and whether he will reconsider this decision?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Bangor wards have not been closed and I understand that the North Wales Vagrancy Committee do1962W not propose, at present at any rate, to submit any application to me in this matter.
