§ Mr. W. THORNEasked the Home Secretary if his attention has been called to the prevalence of asbestos of the lungs among young girls employed in asbestos works and which has been diagnosed as asbestosis; if he is aware that cases have been admitted to St. Thomas's and the London Chest hospitals with this complaint; whether he has any record of the number of these cases; and whether he intends to schedule this disease under the Workmen's Compensation Acts?
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThe Senior Medical Inspector of Factories reports that he is aware of cases of so-called asbestosis of the lungs among women.
