§ Colonel ASHLEYIn addition to the schemes to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers, the Mid-East England Scheme has recently been prepared by the Electricity Commissioners and transmitted to the Central Electricity Board. The Commissioners expect to be able during the course of the present year to complete the preparation of schemes for North-East England, South-West England and East England, respectively, in that order.
