§ Mr. LUNNSurveys are undertaken from time to time by private interests or by the various Governments concerned. Particulars of official surveys are published in the reports of the appropriate Departments of the Governments authorising such work. So far as I know, no register of oil resources is kept by any Department of State in the United Kingdom, but the Board of Trade keep in touch with all sources of information.
