§ The ATTORNEY-GENERALThe number of first registrations in voluntary areas increased from 113 in 1913 to 585 in 1924 and 1,806 in 1928, the last year for which statistics are at present available. For further details I would refer 2129W the hon. Member to the Chief Land Registrar's Report to the Lord Chancellor for the financial year 1928–29, published by His Majesty's Stationery Office. I do not think that any useful purpose would be served by adopting the suggestion made in the latter part of the question.
