§ Major POLEasked the Secretary of State for India the total cost to the Indian revenues of the sloop built for the Royal Indian Marine; whether this vessel has now been delivered to the Government of India; and what is the present size of the Royal Indian Marine?
§ Mr. BENNAs the sloop is not due for completion until September, 1930, I cannot yet give the total cost. The vessels of the Royal Indian Marine at present 1913W consist of one depot ship, three sloops excluding that now under construction, two patrol craft vessels, two survey ships, and a number of minesweeping and steam trawlers and other smaller craft.
