ADAMSONEach Scottish education authority receives annually a general grant under the Education Authorities (Scotland) Grant Regulations in aid of the total expenditure falling to be met from the education fund of the area. It is, therefore, not possible to show the proportions in which expenditure under particular heads is met from local rates and Exchequer grants respectively.
