§ Mr. ALBERYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether any steps are being taken by the Government to safeguard British labour conditions against unfair foreign competition and goods made from sweated labour pending the fruition of the efforts of the International Labour Organisation of the League of Nations?
§ Mr. W. GRAHAMI have indicated on previous occasions, that in the opinion of the Government this matter can in the circumstances of this country be dealt with effectively only by international action and that the Government will continue to take every opportunity to promote international agreement on labour standards.
