§ Miss LAWRENCEParticulars of cancer deaths and mortality rates in each of the last 10 years will be found in the Registrar-General's Statistical Review for 1928, Part I, Tables 4 and 5, on pages 10 and 24–25, and in the Chief Medical Officer's Report for 1928, pages 167–175. With regard to the latter part of the question, so many factors are involved in any discussion of the tendencies of mortality from this cause that I can only refer the hon. Member to the commentary upon the subject which is annually contained in the Text Volume of the Statistical Review, and of which the last example will be found commencing on page 58 in the Text Volume for 1927.
