§ Mr. W. GRAHAMI am not aware that any such assurance has ever been given by an agent of the Enemy Debts Department to purchasers of foreign bearer bonds. If, however, the hon. Member is able to cite a specific instance and will furnish full particulars so that the case can be identified, I will have the matter carefully investigated.
