§ Captain CAZALETasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the change of management in the Mexican National Railways, he will ask His Majesty's Minister to Mexico to make representations to the Mexican Government on behalf of the interest of British bondholders in these concerns who have received no interest on their bonds for 14 years?

HENDERSONI do not consider that the change in the management of the Mexican National Railways in any way affects the situation, which is that until His Majesty's Government are approached by the British representatives of the International Committee of Bankers, who represent the interests of the bondholders, they are not in a position to consider action in the sense suggested by the hon. and gallant Member.
