asked the Minister of Labour what are the 10 towns selected for the inquiry into the purchasing power of wages that the International Labour Office is carrying out?

I am informed by the International Labour Office that the following towns have been selected:

London. Frankfort.
Manchester. Antwerp.
Cork. Rotterdam.
Paris. Helsingfors.
Marseilles. Copenhagen.
Berlin. Stockholm.

who are actually in receipt of benefit are not available. The following table gives for each of the Tyneside Employment Exchanges, in respect of the latest date for which figures are available and for a year before, the numbers on the register with claims to benefit admitted or under consideration; the number of claims authorised for dependants' benefit; the number of dependants for whom such benefit was authorised; and the weekly amount of unemployment benefit paid at the Exchange:

Trieste. Constantinople.
Genoa. Warsaw.
Barcelona.
