§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe amounts which would have been included on the expenditure side of the Budget for 1929 but for the accounting changes mentioned in the question are estimated at £7,700,000, namely:—
£ Fee Stamps 1,350,000 Teachers' Pension contributions 2,900,000 Unemployment Fund Interest 1,800,000 Other interest on borrowings 1,650,000 Had these sums still been included on the expenditure side, there would of course have been a corresponding addition to the revenue.
