Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe total number of houses completed in England and Wales with State assistance from 1919 to 1st October, 1928 was 789,037. Information as to the total capital cost of the houses is not available. The amount of the Exchequer contributions paid to the same date is £68,247,114.
