asked the Minister of Health whether, in the event of boards of guardians inviting persons to enter the Poor Law union, it is the practice for Poor Law authorities to store the household effects of such persons until they are discharged from the union?

I understand that in suitable cases boards of guardians sometimes adopt this practice.
