§ Mr. GROVESasked the Minister of Pensions if he has considered the representations made to him by the annual conference of the British Legion (Scotland), urging the removal of the seven-years' time limit in regard to pension claims and the reintroduction of the medical examination of all disabled men' who have no pension and whose disabilities have reasserted themselves; and whether he is prepared to introduce the necessary amending legislation?
§ Major TRYONThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the latter part, I am afraid that I can add nothing to the reply which I gave on the 8th instant to a question on the same subject from the hon. Member for Shoreditch (Mr Thurtle), of which I am sending the hon Member a copy.
