§ Mr. BETTERTONPrecise statistics on these points are not available, but it- is estimated that, including persons unemployed, there are approximately 500,000 wage-earners aged 60 to 64 inclusive in industry and approximately 340,000 aged 65 and over. These figures include persons employed in agriculture, but exclude those employed in private domestic service.
