Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The number of persons in receipt of domiciliary Poor Law relief in the Southwark Union (which is co-extensive with the borough), excluding casuals and persons in receipt of medical relief only, on Saturday, 3rd November, 1928, was 8,628.
