BULLasked the Minister of Health whether he has any information as to the number of centres for which the National Institute for Medical Research publishes statistics of ultra-violet light; whether any other centres publish their figures; and whether, as an incentive to the purification of the atmosphere of industrial centres and as a means of making known the healthfulness of British watering places, he will recommend all local authorities to publish similar statistics?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI am informed by the Medical Research Council that daily records of this kind are published for Hampstead by the National Institute for Medical Research and at four other places; and that records, of which some are published, are kept at 11 other places. I shall be glad to consider the suggestion made by my right hon. Friend in the last part of the question.
