HC Deb 14 November 1928 vol 222 c892W
Sir H. BRITTAIN

asked the Home Secretary whether a decision has yet been arrived at respecting the future of ancient graveyards in Wales the control of which has been refused by local authorities; and whether it is now proposed to employ the compulsory powers already possessed by him?

Sir V. HENDERSON

My right hon. Friend has been in consultation with the Welsh representatives on the matter, but it has not been possible as yet to arrive at a final decision. In these circumstances the last paragraph of the question does not arise.
