HC Deb 13 November 1928 vol 222 c713W
Mr. LONGBOTTOM

asked the Postmaster-General what is the present position as regarding the proposed reduction in the remuneration of sub-postmasters for payment of Army and Navy allowances and pensions?

Mr. KINGSLEY GRIFFITH

asked the Postmaster-General whether any reductions contemplated in the remuneration of sub-postmasters in respect of the payment of Army and Navy allowances and pensions will be submitted by him to the Industrial Court before they are enforced?

Viscount WOLMER

I will answer these two questions together. This matter is under consideration, and my right hon. Friend hopes to reach a decision in the course of a few days.
