§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe number of automatic telephone exchanges already working is 129 comprising about 150,000 subscribers' lines. I am sending a schedule of these exchanges to my hon. Friend separately. It is hoped to open about 50 additional exchanges by the end of 1929.
