asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he will give a list of the names and addresses of the persons holding a specific licence granted by the Board of Trade under the Importation of Plumage (Prohibition) Act, 1921, which enables them to import plumage prohibited from import under that Act?

pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 4th May, 1928; col. 2064, Vol. 216] supplied the following list:

Names and addresses of bodies and persons holding licences for the importation of plumage granted by the Board of Trade under the Importation of Plumage (Prohibition) Act, 1921:

  2. II. Individuals who hold licences to import plumage for the purpose of scientific research: E. C.   3. III. Mr. W. F. H. Rosenberg, F.Z.S., F.E.S., of 57, Haverstock Hill, London, N.W.3, holds a licence to import plumage subject to the condition that no plumage imported under the licence be sold or otherwise disposed of by him except to one of the museums above specified, or to a person producing to the holder of the licence a letter from the Board of Trade authorising him to purchase the plumage in question.
