HC Deb 24 May 1928 vol 217 c2081W
Mr. BROAD

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of his statement on 2nd March, 1926, that he would definitely introduce the Factories Bill in 1927, he will say what are the reasons for the non-fulfilment of his promise; and whether he can now give a definite date when the Bill will be placed before Parliament?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I would refer the hon. Member to the statement made by the Prime Minister in regard to this Bill in the Debate on the Address on the 7th February last. I am afraid I am not in a position at present to add anything to that statement.
