§ Commodore KINGProsecutions taken in respect of contraventions of the Regulations for the care and treatment of pit ponies at three collieries in the Swansea Division have been heard since December. 1926. They involved 261 informations against owners, officials and horsekeepers, on 253 of which convictions were recorded. A prosecution, involving 19 informations, in respect of a fourth colliery in the same Division is awaiting hearing by the magistrates.
