§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe garrison gymnasium at Tidworth may be used by the troops twice a month for dances. No extra work falls on the gymnasium staff in this connection, since the preparations for the dance and the clearing up afterwards are carried out by the unit concerned. No expense falls on the public on these occasions, since the unit pays for lighting, heating, etc. As regards the second part of the question, the garrison theatre, Tidworth, is rented by the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes from the War Department as a 1715W cinema theatre, but the troops have the right to use the theatre at stated times for dances, concerts, lectures, etc.
