Friend understands that the method of packing cream in hermetically sealed tin cans is already in use, but though it is a satisfactory device, he cannot agree that it is the only method of keeping cream fresh. In any event, as the Regulations were made nearly three years ago, there has been ample time to enable the cream trade to make the necessary arrangements, and my right hon. Friend does not1522W consider that the suggestion in the question affords any justification for suspending the operation of the Regulations.
