§ Mr. REMERasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the fact that the draft Regulations under the Sale of Food Act, 1926, and the Weights and Measures Amendment Act, 1926, have now been issued, he is now in a position to state what progress, if any, has so far been made in the preparation of the Regulations under Section 5 of the Weights and Measures Act, 1904, for the types of self-indicating pendulum weighters (automatic counter scales) at present in use; and whether he can now give a date by which their publication may be expected?
§ Mr. H. WILLIAMSThe revision of the Weights and Measures Regulations, 1907, is now in hand. I cannot yet say when the revised Regulations will he published, but this will not be done without such consultation as may be necessary with traders or other interests affected.
