§ Mr. KELLYasked the Secretary for Mines whether the catalogue of abandoned mines in Cornwall deals with the 156 mines which were in operation in 1855 as against the 14 now stated to be 48W working; and does it deal with the 50 lead mines and the same number of copper mines engaged in production in 1855?
§ Commodore KINGParticulars of nearly 900 plans of mines in Cornwall are included in the catalogue and probably those referred to by the hon. Member are among them, but I cannot say definitely as many plans are undated and names are sometimes changed.
