§ Mr. SHORTasked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware of the dissatisfaction existing from the issuing of the Board of Education Circular 1297; and, having regard to the effects it will have, especially upon the education of mentally and physically defective children, including the blind, will he consider the withdrawal of the Circular or its drastic modification?
§ Mr. E. WOODI may refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on the 1st March last to the hon. Member for North Tottenham (Mr. R. Morrison). As I stated in my reply yesterday to the hon. Member for Chester-le-Street (Mr. Lawson), I will consider any objections or representations that may be made on the draft of the Revised Regulations relating to Special Schools.
