HC Deb 29 June 1928 vol 219 c858W
Mr. KELLY

asked the Minister of Labour the number of tin miners registered as unemployed in May and June, 1928?

Mr. BETTERTON

At 21st May, 1928, the number of insured persons in Great Britain classified as belonging to the lead, tin and copper mining industries recorded as unemployed was 827. I am unable to give separate figures for tin mining, and the figures for June are not yet available.
