§ Colonel ASHLEYI have been asked to reply. I think that the existing powers of the railway companies should, generally speaking, be adequate to enable them to deal with the matter to which the hon. Member refers, provided that passengers subjected to annoyance from this cause are prepared to assist the companies by coming forward and giving evidence if necessary. I do not at present contemplate the introduction of further legislation.
