§ Mr. GILLETTasked the Home Secretary whether the revised and comprehensive statement concerning the differences accorded to prisoners sentenced to periods of hard labour, ordinary imprisonment and imprisonment in the second division, which he stated, on 17th November last, would be issued to all courts of summary jurisdiction at an early date, has yet been issued; and, if not, when its issue may be expected.
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSA revised statement on these subjects is now being printed. Copies will be circulated to all courts and the press and put on sale, and copies will be placed in the library.
