§ Sir K. WOODThe answer is in the negative. My right hon. Friend does not think that the method proposed is likely to attain the end which the hon. Member has in view, and he would be afraid that it would tend to restrict the already very extensive work which local authorities do in securing the remedying of defects in housing accommodation.
