Mr. CHAMBERLAINI regret that I am unable to supplement such information as is contained in the recently published Report of the Departmental Committee on the superannuation of local government employés. I may say, however, that the cost of pensions is defrayed from the general income of local authorities except in so far as it is met by contributions from the employés themselves.
