§ Mr. LIVINGSTONEasked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department whether he will arrange for the insertion of a number in the London Telephone Directory for the British Industries Fair, White City, and so prevent needless and irritating delays in getting into telephonic communication with the exhibitors?
§ Mr. HACKINGThe point raised by the hon. Member is not free from difficulty, as a telephone number inserted in the Telephone Directory would have to be included in the issue of the previous October, and would therefore be misleading in the intervening period prior to the opening of the fair. I will, however, gladly consider, in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Postmaster-General, whether a more satisfactory arrangement can be made for next year.
