HC Deb 20 December 1928 vol 223 cc3250-1W
Mr. DAY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the inconvenience experienced by British subjects through the long waiting periods that they have at the Egyptian consul's office in London when attending that office for the purpose of obtaining a visa for Egypt; and will he make representations to the Egyptian authorities requesting them to facilitate matters so as to enable British subjects to be dealt with more promptly on such occasions?

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

No complaints have reached me on this subject, but if the hon. Member will inform me of any that have come to his notice, I will endeavour to have any causes for complaint removed.
