§ Major ELLIOTMy right hon. Friend is not yet in a position to make a statement dealing comprehensively with the details of the proposed experiments in Lewis. As indicated in the reply given to the hon. Member for Leith (Mr. E. Brown) on the 20th ultimo, the cost of these experiments will be met from funds provided by a private donor.
