HC Deb 13 December 1928 vol 223 cc2352-3W
Mr. BRIANT

asked the Minister of Labour the number of men who have resided at Hollesley Bay Farm Colony during the last three years; and how many so trained have found employment on farms?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I have been asked to reply. I am informed that 1,647 men have resided at the colony since December, 1925; 198 have been found farm work or work in rural and other occupations; and 131 are reported to have taken their discharge with good prospects of employment.
