§ Major TRYONSo far as I am aware, there is no record of the mortality among ex-service men at large as distinct from the general population. The death rate for the whole body of disabled officers and men is estimated for the current year at about 15 per 1,000. This is probably slightly higher than the death rate among2350W the general male population of similar ages, as would of course be expected from the fact that pensioners are all suffering from disabilities of one kind or another.
