HC Deb 12 December 1928 vol 223 c2152W
Mr. R. YOUNG

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is able to say when the case of the employés of the Sankey Sugar Works, Earlstown, remitted to the Umpire, is likely to be considered or, if it has been considered, what the decision is or when it will be made known to those concerned?

Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND

The Umpire's decision was received to-day and will be communicated to the representatives of the employés concerned by post to-night. I am sending a copy of the decision to the hon. Member.
