§ Colonel ASHLEYI have been asked to reply. I have not received a formal application to determine any question arising on the definition to which my hon. Friend refers, but a few firms have asked me whether their works are within the definition. In some instances the information furnished is insufficient to show the nature of the works and in such cases I am having inquiries made.
