asked the Minister of Health the number of houses reconstructed or improved in Hampshire under the Housing (Rural Workers) Act, 1926, and the names of the local authorities in Hampshire that have made applications under that Act for assistance.

Assistance has been promised under the Housing (Rural Workers) Act, 1926, in respect of 66 houses, and work has been completed on 16 houses under the scheme of the county council who are the local authority for the purposes of the Act for the whole county. Information is not available as to the persons or bodies from whom the applications for assistance were received.
